| Description | Join our siblings in Christ from the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, the District of Columbia Baptist Convention and International Ministries to travel to Israel/Palestine to attend the Christ At The Checkpoint Conference https://christatthecheckpoint.bethbc.edu/ and meet with local partners in ministry. Come and see God's mission and be with "living stones" in Galilee, Capernaum, Via Dolorosa, Cana and participate in worship services. Be an encouragement to siblings in Christ who live daily ongoing challenges. Come and learn what ministry is like in the shadow of walls and conflict. Meet with ministry leaders from the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel, who are christian partners of International Ministries. As a participant you will learn about the history of Baptist life and what daily living is like from youths and adults followers of Christ. Participants are expected to walk 3- 5 miles daily while in Israel/Palestine. Hotels are Double occupancy. Non-refundable deposit of $300 to reserve a seat. Register by October 10, 2023. The team (up to 30 individuals) will depart from the US on May 16, 2024 and return to the US on May 29, 2024. In-country visits organized by HET Tours will include: Airport transfers, meals, hotels, private tour guide, entrance fees to local sites, registration fee to CATC conference, Emergency Insurance coverage and IM staff leader provided.
