Description HOPE Project has been working with street children and exploited youth since 2001. Our biggest struggle is finding meaningful work for older street and slum youth who are too old to go back to school. At the same time, there is a pressing need of a standardized computer repair service. There are local computer repair services. For the most part, when they are asked to fix a complicated computer problem, they reformat the hard drive and load it up with unlicensed software.

Computer problems are never ending in Laos, especially with all the unlicensed software being used. The slum youth’s need for meaningful work, and the ongoing need of standardized computer repair are two untapped opportunities that can both compliment and benefit each other.
A computer repair business would serve the following beneficial objectives:
1. At-risk slum and street children escape the cycle of poverty, exploitation, and/or drug trafficking, through the provision of life skills development, meaningful work, steady income, and mentoring.
2. Professional computer support and IT services for organizations and individuals who need it.
3. Self-sustaining income for HOPE Project
